About

Dr. Panhorst has four decades of experience as a director, curator, writer, editor, teacher, and program coordinator in museums and universities. As the Executive Director for the Landmarks Foundation and Old Alabama Town, he preserves and presents the architecture, history, and culture of central Alabama. This includes operating 19th-century Alabama living history museum in 30 historic structures, advocating for historic preservation and education, and managing the commercial rental of 20 historic structures. He will bring this wealth of knowledge and experience to the discussion of the Landmarks Foundation's work.
